Author / Speech-Language Pathologist
Jana Tropper, M.S. CCC-SLP/L, is graphic novel writer and a speech-language pathologist in a public elementary school and from the midwest. She has written several comics on Epic including Seeker Society and Animal Rescue Friends and has presented professionally at Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo, Baltimore Comic Con, and San Diego Comic Con both as an educator and a writer. She serves as the Director of Literacy for Reading with Pictures, a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing the joy and instructional value of sequential art to educational stakeholders. She uses comics to work with students on articulation, language, and social communication skills and runs an after school Comic Book Club for students.
